Mailing address: Texas State University Sharon Keefe Ugalde, Professor, received her B.A. from the University of California, Davis, Certificate of completion for one year of study at the University of Madrid, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish from Stanford University,. She joined the Texas State faculty in 1973 and was a visiting professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998. She is the Section Coordination of the Spanish Division of the Department of Modern Languages. Her principal area of research is 20th- and 21st-century poetry of Spain and gender and she has also done research on the Latin American novel.
