Arabic classes are offered
through
The Offices of Correspondence, Extension and Study
Abroad
Programs. To be able to join the class, you must fill in the Office of
Extension Enrollment Application (click here to download a copy -
Application). Take
the application to your advisor to be signed and then bring it back to the
Offices of Correspondence, Extension and Study Abroad Programs.
Though it is offered through the Offices of Correspondence, Extension and
Study Abroad Programs, the Arabic classes are like any
other classes, you will get credit for and will satisfy your
language requirement in the College of Liberal Arts. So:
1. Fill in the application 2.
Have it signed by your advisor; 3. Bring it to the Offices of Extension,
Correspondence and Study Abroad Programs 4. Pay; 5. See you in class.
Good news
"You do not have to be officially
admitted to the university to sign up for the classes. Anyone can join"
Remember: Almost everyone speaks Spanish,
but few speaks Arabic. Be one of the few. ROTC
students: the United States Army will pay $150.000 bonus for those who speak Arabic.
